Rockaxson, parlaci un po ‘di te (nome, età, città di nascita e città in cui sei più attivo artisticamente parlando, ecc.)
Mi chiamo Rodrigo Roco, sono nato in Cile ma vivo a Barcellona dal 2012. La città in cui sono più attivo artisticamente parlando è Barcellona.
Rockaxson, tell us a little about yourself (Name, age, city of birth and city where you are most active artistically speaking, etc.)
My name is Rodrigo Roco, I was born in Chile but I live in Barcelona since 2012. The city where I am most active artistically speaking is Barcelona.
Quando e come hai iniziato a creare le tue opere d’arte? Da dove viene la tua passione?
Una delle mie passioni è la fotografia, la fotografia di strada e la fotografia di arte di strada. Un giorno io ho pensato…vorrei creare qualcosa e metterlo per strada, e poi ho iniziato a farlo stencil da vecchie fotografie.
When and how did you start creating your works of art? Where does your passion come from?
One of my passions is photography, Street Photography, and Street art photography. One day I thought…I would like to create something and put it on the street, and then I started to do Stencils from old photographs.
Quando prepari un nuovo lavoro, segui uno schema creativo ricorrente o è molto influenzato dal momento? Raccontaci come nascono le tue opere.
La base delle mie opere è la tecnica dello stencil, per questo motivo quando preparo i miei nuovi lavori, penso solo alla migliore tavolozza dei colori, in realtà, quasi tutti i miei lavori sono in scala di grigi, oppure a volte uso uno sfondo colorato o cambio un colore in scala di grigi, per un altro colore più intenso.
When you prepare a new work, do you follow a recurring creative pattern or is it very influenced by the moment? Tell us how your works are born.
The base of my artworks is Stencil technique, for that reason when I prepare my new works, I only think about the best color palette, actually, almost all of my artwork are in grayscale, or sometimes I use a colorful background or I change a grayscale color, for another more intense color.
Che tecnica usi? L’hai sempre usato o è cambiato nel tempo? In caso affermativo, perché?
Ogni volta uso la tecnica dello stencil.
What technique do you use? Did you always use that or did it change over time? If so, why?
Stencil technique everytime.
Cosa vuoi trasmettere con i tuoi lavori?
Voglio trasmettere una critica al sistema.
What do you want to convey with your works?
I want to convey a criticism to the system
Cosa ne pensi della street art in Italia e all’estero?
Amo la street art italiana, soprattutto pugliese. La street art di EEUU, Brasile, Regno Unito, Cile è la migliore. Ma la street art non riguarda le nazionalità, riguarda le persone, si tratta di amici, si tratta di realtà diverse.
What do you think of street art in Italy and abroad?
I love street art from Italy, especially from Puglia. Street art from EEUU, Brazil, UK, Chile are the best. But street art is not about nationalities, it’s about people, it’s about friends, it’s about different realities.
Tra tutti i tuoi lavori, qual è quello che ti piace e che ti rappresenta di più? e perché?
L’opera d’arte che più mi piace è La Niña, è un ragazzino con un dito, fottiti. Perché rappresenta tutti i miei sentimenti riguardo al sistema.
Among all your works, which is the one you like and represents you the most? and why?
The artwork that most I like is La Niña, it’s a little kid with a finger fuck you. Because she represents all my feeling about the system.
Quanto tempo ci vuole per preparare un’opera, dall’idea alla parete?
Dipende dal giorno, dal momento, dalla situazione, ma è come 45 minuti o 1 ora.
How long does it take you to prepare a work, from the idea to the wall?
It depends on the day, the moment, the situation, but it’s like 45 min or 1 hour.
Rockaxson, come ti vedi artisticamente parlando tra dieci anni?
Come oggi, forse con più opere vendute.
Rockaxson, how do you see yourself artistically speaking in ten years?
Same like today, maybe with more artworks sold.
Hai collaborato con altri artisti stranieri o vorresti? Chi sarebbe e perché ammiri particolarmente questo artista?
Ho collaborato con diversi artisti residenti a Barcellona, Colp_one, Jarandonga, El_Rughi, Kler, Balu_art.

Prendo ispirazione dagli artisti che utilizzano tecniche di stencil tagliati a mano come C215, Funkycook, Trendkill_stencils, Polarbearstencils, Me_bes.
