IARfn, raccontaci un po’ di te (nome, età, città di nascita e città in cui sei più attivo artisticamente parlando, ecc.)
Sono Larfn o anche slapsnpastesdn e vengo da Dunedin nel sud della bellissima Nuova Zelanda.. l’età per me non è un ostacolo per i capricci e per l’attività disonesta.
IARfn, tell us a little about yourself (Name, age, city of birth and city where you are most active artistically speaking, etc.)
Iarfn aka slapsnpastesdn from Dunedin in the south island of beautiful New Zealand.. age is no barrier to hijinks and artistic shenanigans.
Quando e come hai iniziato a creare le tue opere d’arte? Da dove viene la tua passione?
Mi sono sempre dilettato artisticamente, ma negli ultimi 3 anni mi sono davvero divertito ad essere parte attiva della straordinaria comunità di adesivi e pastup, sia qui che in tutto il mondo.
When and how did you start creating your works of art? Where does your passion come from?
Always dabbled artistically but in the last 3 years I have really enjoyed being an active part of the amazing sticker and pasteup community both here and worldwide.
Quando prepari un nuovo lavoro, segui uno schema creativo ricorrente o è molto influenzato dal momento?
Creativamente non sono affatto un pianificatore.. lavoro sull’istinto e su come mi sento in quel momento. Io faccio zig zag con i miei sentimenti e stati d’animo e questo aiuta a forgiare il modo in cui mi esprimo artisticamente. A volte guardo il mio lavoro e mi sorprendo!
When you prepare a new work, do you follow a recurring creative pattern or is it very influenced by the moment? Tell us how your works are born.
Creatively Im not a planner at all.. i work on instinct and my mindset at the time. I zig zag with my feelings and moods and that helps to forge the way i express myself artistically. Sometimes I look at my work and surprise myself!
Che tecnica usi? L’hai sempre usato o è cambiato nel tempo? In caso affermativo, perché?
Il collage e la tecnica mista sono il mio mezzo preferito, adoro i lavori classici o vintage in cui posso dare il mio tocco personale .. Non sto cercando di raggiungere nessuno in particolare .. è più una questione di far fermare le persone per un minuto, fargli dare un’occhiata, farli sorridere e farli proseguire con la loro giornata.
What technique do you use? Did you always use that or did it change over time? If so, why?
Collage and mixed media is my favourite medium, i just love classic or vintage works that i can put my own spin into.. im not trying to reach out to anyone in particular.. its more about making people stop for a minute, take a look then smile and go about their day.

Felicità, risate e benessere generale.
What do you want to convey with your works?
Happiness, laughter and general well being.
Cosa ne pensi della street art in Italia e all’estero?
Sono una grande fan di Whatifier in Italia (Napoli) .. lei produce dei lavori incredibili ed è davvero una persona fantastica con cui lavorare. Gli italiani e in generale gli europei sono grandi esponenti della streetart.
What do you think of street art in Italy and abroad?
Im a big fan of Whatifier in Italy (Naples) .. she produces some incredible work and is a really great person to work with. Italians and in general Europeans are great exponents of streetart.
Tra tutti i tuoi lavori, qual è quello che ti piace e che ti rappresenta di più? e perché?
I miei lavori sono così vari che penso che la bellezza sia negli occhi di chi guarda.. spero solo che a qualcuno, da qualche parte, piaccia.
Among all your works, which is the one you like and represents you the most? and why?
My works are so varied i think beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. i just hope someone, somewhere enjoys it.
Quanto tempo ci vuole per preparare un’opera, dall’idea alla parete?
Tempo di preparazione zero.
How long does it take you to prepare a work, from the idea to the wall?
Zero prep time.. i just get into it.. Boom
Come ti vedi artisticamente parlando tra dieci anni?
Mi piace pensare che tra 10 anni sto ancora facendo le mie cose. Non sono qui per fare soldi o vendere lavoro, sono qui per la comunità e le amicizie che ho fatto. Tutti sono solidali, amorevoli e vivi!
How do you see yourself artistically speaking in ten years?
I like to think in 10 years time im still just doing my thing. Im not here to make money or sell work, Im here because of the community and the friendships i’ve made. Everyone is supportive, loving and alive!
Slapsnpastesdn, hai collaborato con altri artisti stranieri o vorresti? Chi sarebbe e perché ammiri particolarmente questo artista?
Non sono estremamente collaborativo … ma amo fare trading in tutto il mondo e sono sempre aperto a nuovi amici commerciali. Diffondere sorrisi in tutto il mondo è ciò che mi rende felice.
Slapsnpastesdn, have you collaborated with other foreign artists or would you like? Who would it be and why do you particularly admire this artist?
Im not hugely collaborative… but i do love trading worldwide and am always open for new trade friends. Spreading smiles around the World is where im Happiest

Mentori..non tanto ma artisti preferiti sì.. Yaya, Vision, Vanityscareart, Bentoghoul, Whatifier, Teethlikescrewdrivers, Vezspoonart .. tanti!
