Il mio nome è Bentoghoul, la mia età è un mistero ma vengo da Manchester, in Inghilterra, ed è anche lì che sono più attivo.
Bentoghoul, tell us a little about yourself (Name, age, city of birth and city where you are most active artistically speaking, etc.)
My name is Bentoghoul, my age is a mystery but I’m from Manchester, England and that’s also where I’m most active.
Quando e come hai iniziato a creare le tue opere d’arte? Da dove viene la tua passione?
Ho iniziato a marzo 2019 dopo che la mia ragazza mi ha portato in un tour di arte di strada. Non avevo mai prestato attenzione alla street art prima e mi ha affascinato così ho deciso di provarci anche io.
When and how did you start creating your works of art? Where does your passion come from?
I started in March 2019 after my girlfriend took me on a street art tour. I hadn’t taken any notice in street art before and at fascinated me so I decided to give it a try.
Quando prepari un nuovo lavoro, segui uno schema creativo ricorrente o è molto influenzato dal momento?
Sono molto influenzato dal momento, dal tipo di umore in cui mi trovo e non pensato affatto in generale.
When you prepare a new work, do you follow a recurring creative pattern or is it very influenced by the moment?
Very influenced by the moment, what kind of mood I’m in and not thought out at all generally.
Che tecnica usi? L’hai sempre usato o è cambiato nel tempo? In caso affermativo, perché?
Disegno digitalmente e tradizionalmente. Uso il mio Ipad per creare disegni digitali e adesivi e pennarelli acrilici per il tradizionale.
What technique do you use? Did you always use that or did it change over time? If so, why?
I draw digitally and traditionally. I use my ipad to make digital designs and stickers and acrylic markers for traditional.
Cosa vuoi trasmettere con i tuoi lavori?
Non ho messaggi, mi piace solo disegnare cose e metterle su per fare divertire le persone.
What do you want to convey with your works?
I have no message, I just like to draw things and put them up for people to enjoy.
Cosa ne pensi della street art in Italia e all’estero?
Non sono stato personalmente, ma da quello che ho visto online sembra fantastico! Ci sono molti grandi artisti in tutto il mondo.
What do you think of street art in Italy and abroad?
I haven’t been personally but from what I’ve seen online it looks cool! There’s lots of great artists all over the world.
Tra tutti i tuoi lavori, qual è quello che ti piace e che ti rappresenta di più? e perché?
Hmmmm, bella domanda. Tutto il mio lavoro è generalmente teschi, quindi è difficile scegliere. Ma andrò con quello che ho disegnato per ultimo.
Among all your works, which is the one you like and represents you the most? and why?
Hmmmm, good question. All my work is generally skulls so it’s hard to choose. But I’ll go with whatever I drew last.
Quanto tempo ci vuole per preparare un’opera, dall’idea alla parete?
Dipende dalla complessità. A volte può richiedere molto tempo e a volte non molto.
How long does it take you to prepare a work, from the idea to the wall?
It depends on the complexity. Sometimes it can take a long time and sometimes not long at all.
Come ti vedi artisticamente parlando tra dieci anni?
Se tutto va bene, sto ancora facendo quello che sto facendo ora, ma molto meglio.
How do you see yourself artistically speaking in ten years?
Hopefully still doing what I’m doing now but much better at it.

Have you collaborated with other foreign artists or would you like? Who would it be and why do you particularly admire this artist?
I have, lots of foreign artists! I still have a list of people to collaborate with and most are foreign.

Per quanto riguarda la street art mi piacciono molto Ratanic, Skam, RxSkulls e Raysel dato che il loro lavoro è ardito.
Mentors: is there an artist from whom you take inspiration? If so, who is it? How did it help you?
As far as street art goes I really like Ratanic, Skam, RxSkulls and Raysel since their work is darker.
